During a trip to Bristol, Tabeat finally felt that she wanted to become a DJ. Back in Leipzig during lockdown, she had plenty of time to get started. It followed first performances at 360° Waschbar and Gießerstraße, and even a little bit later in the Subardo tent at Fusion Festival.

Tabeat moves between driving drum and bass and deep old-school jungle, carried by a long-standing connection to trip-hop and hip-hop. She sees it as a tribute to the complexity of bass culture, where unique, dynamic sounds arise constantly.
